Mel Beauprez – President 
(Joined the Board in July, 1995)

Mel Beauprez has lived in Pine Brook Hills since 1970. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from CU and a certificate in administration from UNC. He was a teacher and school administrator in the Boulder Valley Schools for 30 years and is now retired.

Joyce Colson
(Joined the Board in May, 2016)

Joyce Colson is a retired corporate and technology lawyer (UT Austin BA and JD). She and her husband Rob Quinn have practiced law in Boulder (Colson Quinn) and lived in Pine Brook Hills for 20 plus years. She’s also a volunteer for Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District. Joyce has also served on numerous charitable boards and volunteers for CU and other entrepreneurial organizations in Colorado.

Sarah Wahlert - Secretary
(Joined the Board in May, 2022)

Sarah has a B.A. from Wellesley College. She worked in the tech startup industry and at Microsoft, serving in a variety of technical and management roles. Currently, she and her husband Brian are managing partners of Over the Ridge, LLC (primarily an ecommerce business) and BoCoIT (computer sales and technical consulting services). Sarah has lived in Pine Brook Hills for over 10 years and volunteered for the HOA. She has also been an active volunteer for her kids’ schools.

Bob Loveman – Treasurer
(Joined the Board in June, 2016)

Bob Loveman has an AB in Sociology with honors from Princeton University and an MBA from Booth Graduate School of Business at University of Chicago. A CPA and CFP, Bob served for 24 years in the financial counsel business as an owner, principal, and president (10 years) of the second largest independent Registered Investment Advisor in the US. Bob has lived in Pine Brook Hills since May of 2005. Bob is a scene support member of Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District and is the current fire board President. He now serves as treasurer of the Pine Brook Hills HOA. He is a Life Trustee of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago and serves on numerous other charitable boards.

Kevin Smith
(Joined the Board in May, 2023)

Kevin has been a Pine Brook Hills resident since 2015 and is currently serving as the President of the Pine Brook Hills HOA. He has a BS in Chemistry from Miami University and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois. He worked 35 years in a variety of positions including Staff Scientist, General Manager and IT Program Manager at two instrumentation companies. He is an active Volunteer Naturalist with Boulder City Open Space and Mountain Parks and a volunteer mechanic at Community Cycles

The five members of the Pine Brook Water Board of Directors are elected to four year terms. Every two years in May, a part of the board is up for election/re-election. If you are interested in being part of the board, please contact us.
